KENDARI, CORONGSULTRA.COM – Kota Kendari kembali menorehkan prestasi membanggakan dengan mempertahankan opini Wajar Tanpa Pengecualian (WTP) atas laporan keuangan pemerintah daerah (LKPD) tahun 2023.
Prestasi ini menandai opini WTP yang ke-11 secara berturut-turut yang berhasil diraih Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Kendari. Penghargaan ini diumumkan oleh Kepala Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan (BPK) RI Perwakilan Sulawesi Tenggara (Sultra) Dadek Nandemar di aula Kantor BPK Sultra, Rabu (22/5/2024).
“Kota Kendari mendapat opini Wajar Tanpa Pengecualian,” ucap Dadek Nandemar dalam kegiatan penyerahan laporan hasil pemeriksaan (LHP) atas LKPD tahun 2023 yang dihadiri oleh Penjabat (Pj) Wali Kota Kendari, Muhammad Yusup.
Acara tersebut juga dihadiri oleh Ketua DPRD Kota Kendari, Subhan, yang turut menandatangani berita acara bersama kepala daerah lainnya.
Selain opini WTP, Kota Kendari juga mencatatkan pemantauan tindak lanjut hasil pemeriksaan tertinggi di Sulawesi Tenggara dengan capaian 90,44 persen. Hal ini menunjukkan komitmen kuat Pemerintah Kota Kendari dalam menindaklanjuti temuan BPK dan meningkatkan akuntabilitas pengelolaan keuangan daerah.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Dadek Nandemar juga memberikan catatan penting terkait temuan belanja pegawai, khususnya perjalanan dinas yang masih menjadi masalah umum di hampir semua daerah.
“Ada kegiatan yang tidak tertampung dalam anggaran, sehingga dicarikan di tempat lain, terkadang mendompleng kepentingan pribadi. Jika tidak ada tindak lanjut, harus dikembalikan,” ungkapnya.
Ia juga menyoroti masalah penggunaan aset daerah yang belum tertib, seperti belum dilakukan penghapusan aset dan penggunaan kartu aset.
Sementara itu, Pj Wali Kota Kendari, Muhammad Yusup, menyampaikan rasa syukur dan terima kasih atas penghargaan yang diterima.
“Prestasi ini adalah hasil kerja keras dan kolaborasi semua pihak di Pemerintah Kota Kendari. Kami akan terus berkomitmen untuk meningkatkan transparansi dan akuntabilitas pengelolaan keuangan daerah,” ujar Pj wali kota.
