TIRAWUTA, CORONGSULTRA.COM – Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Kolaka Timur (Koltim) mengadakan pertemuan Diseminasi Audit Kasus Stunting Semester 2 tingkat Kabupaten Koltim tahun 2024.
Kegiatan dibuka langsung oleh Kepala Dinas Pengendalian Penduduk dan Keluarga Berencana (DPPKB) Koltim Jumaeda, Sabtu (12/10/2024) pagi.
Pertemuan tersebut dihadiri Kepala OPD terkait, Camat Loea, Kepala Desa Iwoikondo, Tim Pakar Stunting 2024 sebagai narasumber, Kapus, Kepala UPTD KB se-Koltim, Satgas Stunting Kab. Koltim, Kepala UPTD, Petugas Lapangan Keluarga Berencana (PLKB), Pelayanan Kesehatan Bergerak (PKB), Tenaga Pelaksana Gizi (TPG), Tim Pendamping Keluarga (TPK), Penyuluh Keluarga Berencana (PKB) se-Kab. Koltim, dan pihak-pihak terkait lainnya.
Kadis DPPKB Jumaeda SKM mengatakan, adapun dasar terlaksana kegiatan ini adalah dalam rangka salah satu upaya-upaya penting percepatan penurunan stunting dan peningkatan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas.
“Sedangkan tujuan dari pertemuan Diseminasi Audit Kasus Stunting Semester II Tingkat Kabupaten Kolaka Timur Tahun 2024 ini supaya teman-teman atau pemerintah desa yang ada didalamnya seperti pembina tetap berkolaborasi bekerjasama bagaimana menggali ilmu-ilmu sehingga kasus stunting ini bisa berkurang,” katanya.
Untuk diketahui, Stunting adalah kondisi gagal tumbuh pada anak balita akibat kekurangan gizi kronis sehingga anak terlalu pendek pada usianya. Stunting juga merupakan gangguan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak akibat kekurangan gizi dalam jangka panjang.
Stunting bisa disebabkan oleh malnutrisi (kekurangan atau kelebihan asupan energi, protein, zat gizi lain karena perubahan dari kebiasan makan atau pola makan yang tidak tepat) yang dialami ibu saat hamil, atau anak pada masa pertumbuhannya.
