MUNA, CORONGSULTRA.COM – Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri (SMAN) 1 Raha di bawah kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah (Kepsek) Achmad Djaya Adi terus berbenah untuk melangkah lebih maju. Dia ingin menjadikan sekolah tersebut mampu bersaing di level Kabupaten hingga tingkat Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara (Sultra).
“Kita punya mindset harus dirubah, jangan lagi berpikir skala Kabupaten saja, melainkan kita bersaing hingga ke tingkat yang lebih tinggi. Saya ingin SMAN 1 Raha mampu bersaing dengan SMAN 1, SMAN 4 Kendari dan SMAN 1 dan SMAN 2 Baubau,” ucap Achmad Djaya Adi, Senin (8/5/2023).
Olehnya itu, pihaknya meluncurkan tagline “New SMANSA Raha” diharapkan dapat memacu semangat semua komponen sekolah untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas mutu pendidikan.
“Tagline New SMANSA ini artinya kondisi, semangat, spirit, ide motivasi, dan gagasan yang baru. Untuk menjadi sekolah yang berhasil ada dua parameternya yakni kualitas guru dan prestasi siswa. Kalau kualitas gurunya bagus, otomatis prestasi siswanya juga dapat. SMAN 1 Raha memiliki sumber daya itu,” jelasnya.
Achmad Djaya Adi mengungkapkan, belum lama ini SMAN 1 Raha menorehkan prestasi, diantaranya menjadi juara umum Olimpiade Sience tingkat Kabupaten Muna sehingga tampil di tingkat Provinsi Sultra.
Dia menyebutkan, jumlah siswa SMAN 1 Raha juara umum Olimpiade Sience di tingkat Kabupaten sebanyak 7 orang mengikuti 5 bidang studi yaitu Astronomi, Fisika, Geografi, Kebumian, dan Informatika.
Prestasi anak didiknya tersebut, mendapat apresiasi dari pihak sekolah. Meski begitu mereka tidak berpuas diri, pihaknya akan terus meningkatkan di masa yang akan datang bukan saja di Provinsi tetapi di level nasional.
“Menjadi juara umum jangan membuat kita terlena, melainkan lompatan lompatannya harus lebih jauh ke tingkat provinsi atau tingkat nasional. Tadi mereka bahkan diupacarakan dan saya katakan kepada mereka, juara umum di tingkat Kabupaten ini menjadi motivasi untuk dapat berbicara lebih banyak di tingkat yang lebih tinggi,” tuturnya.
Tidak hanya siswanya yang berprestasi. Achmad Djaya Adi mengatakan, salah seorang guru di SMAN 1 Raha, La Daya S.Pd, MPd akan dianugerahi Guru Berprestasi yang akan diberikan oleh Gubernur Sultra tanggal 10 Mei 2023 nanti.
“Guru tersebut merupakan guru penggerak yang menjadi salah satu peserta di Forum Leader Ship Singapur Workshop (LSW),” ujarnya.
