BUTON UTARA, CORONGSULTRA.COM – Bupati Buton Utara (Butur) Muhammad Ridwan Zakaria, menghadiri acara launching penyeberangan perdanan kapal ferry rute Sawaea – Labuan, bertempat di Pelabuhan Rakyat Sawapatani Kecamatan Wawonii Selatan, Kabupaten Konawe Kepulauan (Konkep), Sabtu (11/11/2023).
Penyeberangan Ferry tersebut diresmikan oleh Staf Ahli Gubernur, Bidang Ekonomi Keuangan dan Pembangunan Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara (Sultra) La Ode Saifuddin, disaksikan Wakil Ketua Komisi V DPR RI Ridwan Bae, Bupati Konkep Amrullah, Wakil Bupati Konkep Andi Muhammad Lutfi, Ketua DPRD Konkep, dan Forkopimda Konkep
Jajaran Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Butur dihadiri oleh Asisten Administrasi Umum, Kepala Dinas Perhubungan, Kepala Dinas Sosial, Kepala Dinas Pertanahan, Kepala Dinas Lingkungan Hidup, serta Kepala BPBD, dan Kepala Dinas Kesehatan.
Staf Ahli Gubernur, Bidang Ekonomi Keuangan dan Pembangunan Provinsi Sultra La Ode Saifuddin mengatakan, dengan dibukanya lintasan penyeberangan Sawapatani (Konkep) – Labuan (Butur) maka hubungan antar pulau Wawoni dan Buton Raya mulai terkoneksi.
“Serta dapat menciptakan pertumbuhan ekonomi baru yang kemudian multiplayer efeknya dirasakan langsung oleh masyarakat Konkep maupun Buton Utara,” ucapnya.
Sementara itu, Wakil Ketua Komisi V DPR RI Ridwan Bae menuturkan, dirinya sebagai perwakilan rakyat di Sultra, mendapatkan mandat untuk meneruskan aspirasi masyarakat khususnya mengenai penyeberangan Sawea-Labuan tersebut.
“Saya sebagai perwakilan rakyat akan melakukan semaksimal mungkin seperti yang ada di sini, seperti jalanan, pelabuhan, maupun irigasi,” ujarnya.
Untuk diketahui, terhubungnya lintas penyeberangan Sawea-Labuan melalui persetujuan Gubernur Sultra dan kolaborasi beberapa instansi terkait yakni Perwakilan Kementrian Perhubungan, Dinas Perhubungan Sultra, Balai Pengelolaan Transportasi Darat (BPTD) Sultra dan PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry Cabang Bau-Bau.
Adapun Kapal Ferry yang akan melayani rute Sawaea – Labuan bernama Kapal Motor Penumpang (KMP) Semumu yang trip perdananya sementara masih digratiskan.
