KENDARI, CORONGSULTRA.COM – Dewan Pimpinan Daerah (DPD) PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) Sulawesi Tenggara (Sultra) menggelar serangkaian kegiatan acara dalam rangka memperingati hari lahir Proklamator Kemerdekaan Indonesia, Ir. Soekarno.
Serangkaian kegiatan diadakan menunjukkan komitmen PDIP mengenang jasa Soekarno atau Bung Karno dan berkontribusi pada pembangunan dan pelestarian lingkungan di Sultra.
Adapun kegiatan sosial yang dilakukan PDIP diantaranya, aksi bersih-bersih pantai di kawasan wisata Pantai Toronipa, Kabupaten Konawe, Minggu (22/6/2025).
Juru bicara DPD PDIP Sultra, Agus Sanaa mengatakan kegiatan yang dilakukan partai untuk mengingatkan betapa pentingnya menjaga kebersihan lingkungan, terutama di kawasan wisata.
“Masih banyak sampah berserakan, jadi kewajiban kita bersama untuk menjaga kebersihan,” katanya.
Selain itu, partai politik besutan Megawati Soekarno Putri ini juga melakukan penanaman mangrove di beberapa daerah sebagai upaya pelestarian lingkungan.
Di Kabupaten Wakatobi, mereka menggelar pengibaran bendera pataka partai di bawah laut.
Agus Sanaa mengatakan, rangkaian kegiatan sepanjang Juni ini juga meliputi kegiatan keagamaan, lomba pidato bertema Bung Karno, dan lomba menggambar anak-anak. Hal ini menunjukkan komitmen PDIP untuk melibatkan seluruh lapisan masyarakat.
“Seluruh pengurus DPD dan kader PDI Perjuangan Sultra, baik struktural maupun anggota, berpartisipasi aktif. “Semua turun ke masyarakat untuk memperingati hari lahir Bung Karno,” katanya.
Anggota DPRD Sultra dari Fraksi PDIP, Hj. Gunartin berujar, peringatan Haul yang diartikan sebagai peringatan wafatnya Soekarno.
Gunartin menjelaskan, sebagai rasa hormat, mereka mengadakan bersih-bersih di pantai wisata Toronipa, Konawe.
