BUTON, CORONGSULTRA.COM – Polda Sulawesi Tenggara (Sultra) dan Kejaksaan Tinggi (Kejati) Sultra didesak untuk menghentikan dugaan aktivitas penambangan ilegal komoditas aspal di wilayah Izin Usaha Pertambangan (IUP) PT Timah, Desa Lawele, Kecamatan Lasalimu, Kabupaten Buton.
Desakan itu disampaikan oleh Persatuan Intelektual Cendekiawan dan Aktivis Sulawesi Tenggara (PIKASULTRA) melalui tipis tertulis, Rabu (3/9/2025).
Jenderal PIKASULTRA, Askal, menyatakan bahwa PT Timah saat ini tidak memiliki kelengkapan perizinan pertambangan, yaitu Rencana Kerja dan Anggaran Biaya (RKAB) tahun 2025. Perusahaan tersebut tidak seharusnya melakukan kegiatan penambangan.
Askal mengatakan, aktivitas penambangan tetap berlangsung dan diduga menggunakan dokumen palsu.
“Legalitas penjualan hasil penambangan ilegal ini diduga menggunakan dokumen palsu atau dokumen perusahaan lain, yaitu IUP PT Karya Buana Buton,” ungkapnya.
Selain itu, PIKASULTRA menyoroti dugaan pemuatan aspal ilegal ke kapal tongkang lewat Pelabuhan Nambo, Kecamatan Lasalimu. Dan diiduga menggunakan dokumen dari IUP PT. Karya Buana Buton.
PIKASULTRA mendesak pihak kepolisian untuk segera mengambil tindakan tegas untuk:
– Menghentikan aktivitas pemuatan tambang ilegal yang saat ini diduga sedang berlangsung di Pelabuhan Nambo.
– Memproses hukum secara tegas para pelaku, termasuk penambang ilegal berinisial US dan perusahaan PT Karya Buana Buton yang diduga memfasilitasi penggunaan dokumen ilegal.
Dia berharap pihak berwajib serius menindaklanjuti laporan mereka demi menegakkan hukum dan menjaga ketertiban di sektor pertambangan.
