KENDARI, CORONGSULTRA.COM – Anggota DPRD Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara (Sultra) Hj. Harmawati melaksanakan reses sekaligus sosialisasi penyalahgunaan narkotika. Kegiatan ini digelar di salah satu rumah warga di Kelurahan Watulondo, Kecamatan Puuwatu, Kota Kendari, Jumat (3/10/2025).
Harmawati menjelaskan tentang bahayanya penyalahgunaan narkotika, apalagi pengguna barang haram tersebut ada di Kota Kendari. Karena itu, pentingnya peran bersama pemerintah dan masyarakat mencegah peredaran narkotika.
“Oleh karena itu, kami tidak henti-hentinya sampaikan tentang penyalahgunaan narkotika,” ucap anggota dewan dari Partai Persatuan Pembangunan (PPP) Sultra ini.
Mantan pegawai BNN Provinsi Sultra ini mengatakan, penyalahgunaan narkotika diatur undang-undang nomor 35 tahun 2009 tentang narkotika.
Undang-undang ini katanya, mengatur definisi narkotika, sanksi pidana, dan rehabilitasi pengguna narkotika.
Sementara itu, Lurah Watulondo, Rusdi mengapresiasi kegiatan reses Harmawati di wilayah kelurahan yang dipimpinnya. Kehadiran anggota dewan provinsi diharapkan bisa menjaring aspirasi warga Watulondo.
